In Active Development
The following sites are in active development. This is not a guarantee they will launch, or that the branding will not change before they launch.
BloggingAsABusiness.com
A comprehensive resource covering both independent blogging / digital publishing as well as freelance blogging–different paths to pursue profitable professional blogging.
QueryFreeFreelancing.com
This site is being re-developed to accompany the upcoming launch (later in 2025) forĀ The Query-Free Freelancer book.
RemoteRanks.com
This site is meant to initially focus on remote work, run as a partnership between a 20+ year remote entrepreneur and a 10+ year remote employee and business owner. It’s on a slow development path but it also expected to branch into remote education as a secondary market.
JoyfulJournaling.com
The branding for this site might change, but when launched it will serve as the home for 3 Beat Media’s collection of journals and planners.
There are additional sites in varying stages of development that are currently on-pause until the schedule allows for them to move forward. Those include DIYProjectIdeas.com, GardenAndFood.com, BizHow2.com, BizJo.com, and more.
Author Websites
In addition to these publication-oriented sites, 3 Beat Media also maintains sites related to authors / pen names, books, series, and more. Most of these are under review pending 2025 changes to the company’s publishing plans. Live sites include:
AJKleinBooks.com
Horror author site for 3 Beat Media founder, Jennifer Mattern. The A.J. Klein pen name may change, prompting a complete overhaul of this site. An archived blog remains for the time being.
QuickMystery.com
This is tied to another changing pseudonym, but the blog features rough short mysteries (short stories, flash fiction, and microfiction), from 3 Beat Media’s founder. These are mostly un-edited work, always un-finished. This is a home for things that won’t otherwise be published, as well as stories seeking feedback before expanding them into longer works. This site will likely move to the QuickMysteries.com domain and go through a re-design before new stories resume publishing.
“Quiet Sites”
In addition to publicly-shared web properties, 3 Beat Media also runs numerous “quiet sites.” These are much smaller, but highly-specialized, unbranded properties not publicly associated with the company.
These are often experimental in nature, testing new publishing tools or strategies. Some are developed to be smaller regular revenue sources without as much active maintenance as the core properties. And others are developed to be sold / flipped after initial development or testing of those new strategies.
You won’t find these sites mentioned here by name, but they cover a variety of topics or niches including PR writing, food / recipes, freelance writing (sites used to run experiments in the industry to be reported on elsewhere), and more.
You can stay on top of new website launches and other news about these sites on the 3 Beat Media blog.
